Personal History

Hi ,my name is Andrew Bills. I am 13 years old and live with my folks in Yukon, Oklahoma. I have been racing motocross since 2001. My first bike was a Yamaha pw-50 my grandpa bought at a garage sale. I rode it everyday until it broke. My Mom and Dad took me to a local track with the pw-50 and I was too tall to ride the bike effectively and to my ability. The next week my Mom and Dad bought me a Yamaha pw-80 and I rode it for a couple of months while I was learning to ride and race. Within the first year of racing I went from a pw50 to a pw80 to a Kawasaki kx60 and finally to a kx65 where I rode for the next 3 years on 65's. I won alot of local races on the kx65's. We rode every Tuesday and Thursday night at our local track for practice and every Saturday and Sunday at various local tracks here in Oklahoma. In 2004 my Mom and Dad bought my first of many 85cc bikes. The first one was very special to me because it was one of Trey Canard's new practice bikes he hardly used. I rode for House of Kawasaki for 3 years on kx65's and kx85's. In October of 2006 my mom and Dad bought me the 1st of many Yamaha 85's. My Dad worked the local scene doing gate dropper duties for Chan Baker and he and Chan worked out a deal for me to ride for Baker Boys Yamaha. I have three Yamaha's at this time. All bikes are new year to year. I have a stock/practice 85, a mod 85, and a Supermini. I appreciate everything my Mom and Dad have done for me over the years in the racing industry and have to give special thanks to my Grandpa Polsley for giving me that first bike. I am in the 8th grade at Bethany Jr. High School. I am in the National Jr. Honor Society. I take pride in bringing home good grades. The number #1 rule to being able to ride is that I get all A's. I know that this sport comes with many challenges and understand that if things don't work out for me to be the Pro rider I want to be , I will have my education to back me up in the future. I thank God every day for keeping me safe. I pray that everyday God will give me the strength to be the best I can be ON and OFF the track. Good attitude and hard work will pay off for me in the end no matter what I do in life.

Riding Goals

Goals for the 2009 season:

1) Spend more 1 on 1 time with God. Prayer and Bible study. Understand what God is teaching me and apply it to my life and spread the word to those that do not know him. Be a Good example.

2) Get good grades. Continue to stay on the principals honor role and in the National Jr. Honor Society.

3) Work hard and train for the nationals. Lake Whitney,Oak Hill, Ponca City,LORETTA LYNN, Branson. These Nationals are realistic in terms of my folk's budget. I want to finish in the top 10 at each.

4) Oklahoma State Championship. I want another Championship. 85cc 12-16 and Supermini.

5) Meet and hang out with all my sponsors. I do not want to be just another kid with sponsors whom I have never met and only know me by a level rider or catalog number. I may not get free rides from you all, but , I want a chance to meet you and get to know you on a personal level. To me , that is the way it should be. I can represent you better and help sell your product if I know what kind of people you are.  I come to you for support and want to keep you as my support. I do not apply to companies I do not use (products for my bikes.) I apply to companies I firmly believe and cannot live without (products for my bikes.) Attitude builds character and character leads to success!
