Personal History
I am from Colombia, and came to the United States in 2013. I love riding anything on two wheels, whether it's a bicycle or a motorcycle. In 2018, my wife and I started a Mountain Bike team called DIRTy Squirrels Racing to share our love of cycling and racing with others. Now in 2021 we are looking forward to extending our team to an MX Racing team. I am also a bicycle mechanic and enjoy working on bikes and making sure they are always race-ready. I enjoy spending time with my wife riding dirt bikes in the woods, or relaxing at our home in Palatine, IL with our dog, Cafi.
Riding Goals
My goal is to always continuously improve. I like to identify areas that I need to work on and set a goal to improve in that area, whether it's cornering, jumping, or riding ruts. I know that my biggest competitor is myself and the goal is to always have fun.
Competitive Highlights
I have been a competitive racer on the dirt since the age of 14, first on bicycles, and later on motorcycles. I love riding and racing on anything with two wheels. I have amassed several victories in Cross Country Mountain Biking, including two Illinois State Championships. This year, I began racing MX for the first time and have fallen in love. I raced in the Megacross Series in Mendota, IL and am currently racing in the Megatraxs Indoor Series, also in Mendota.
