Personal History
Hi! My name is Amber Cooper. I have been around motorcycles since I was a child. I got my love of motorcycles from my dad. It has always been our special bond. But it is also more than that. The love of riding motorcycles is in my blood and is never going to go away. I have a special place in my heart for vintage motorcycles as well. I grew up in the AHRMA family watching my dad race and finally getting to win a national motocross championship like my dad. I am currently focusing on racing harescrambles. I find them challenging and exciting. I am looking forward to the SORCS series this year. I am a middle school special education teacher which is a very rewarding job that I love. However, sponsorships will definitely help me in the weekly bike maintenance to get me to the races.
Riding Goals
Not riding my motorcycles has never been an option for me. I definitely the happiest on my dirt bike, no matter where that is. I am getting into harescrambles and loving them. I have been training with cross fit classes, running, and of course practicing in the woods. My goal is to finish second or better in the SORCS Winter Nationals series and the win the 2015 SORCS series in the Women's class. After some experience, I would like to ride some GNCC races as well.
