Personal History
Hi my name is Amanda Thayer and I love RACING. Racing is the most important thing in my life. I wish I could do it all the time like on weekdays that would be AWESOME! I also have a dog named wilma and she comes to all my races shes my racing dog. I also like trail riding up at my cabin. My cabin is in Hayward Wisconsin. I play the clarinetin my school band, and I love playing with all my pets i have 2 dogs named wilma and carmen and I have a cat named baby and a bird named frankie and he can say"pretty bird". I like spending time with my family and friends too.My dad thought me how to ride. I learned in the tight woods now i go through the woods about 30 miles per hour.Also my dad rode motocross about 35 years ago.
Riding Goals
I raced in districts 23 and part of 16 of the AMA and I also raced in the Irace series in northern Wisconsin. I finished 2nd for the season in district 23 which is mostly Minnesota and finished 5th for the season in the Irace series. My goal for next year is to move up a class to 90cc production and ride even harder this year. My plan is to take 1st in 90cc production of district 23. In the Irace series my goal is to move up a class to 90cc mods, and my plan is to get 1st in that class.
Competitive Highlights
Here are some of my competitive highlights. At the Arkansaw race when I got off the track all of me was full of mud. My boots looked like big, huge, enormous mud pies. My fenders were hanging down because there was so much mud on them. It was so much fun and I still got 2nd overall. There was a cyclone series, if you made it to all the Mazeppa races, you would get an overall place, and I got 2nd. If I am sponsored next year, I plan to have a lot more highlights to share! Also, it is all about the sponsors next year.
