Personal History
My name is Dean MacGillivray and I am 6 years old. I have a younger sister who is 3. My family loves to do anything outdoors, and our favorite is to ride Dirtbikes. I have been on two wheels since I was 2 and have been hooked ever since. I countdown the time till I ride next. Not only fast on the track, but working on proper technique and safety is my goal. Very grateful for my family to support me in my passion of riding. I balance keeping good grades in school, while being the best person I can be at all times. I race as much as possible! I work hard, never give up, and am a solid representative for my family and sponsors on and off the race track.
Riding Goals
Riding is my passion and it gives me a positive outlet to have fun outdoors to be active. My goal is to continue to gain knowledge to become the best rider I can be. My plan is to perfect my technique for safety and control while building confidence. I love that I can have fun while adding speed to race competitively. Next year I plan to attend all possible races each weekend and continue to give it my all and gain experience.
Competitive Highlights
Waking up everyday to be healthy and have the opportunity to ride is the biggest blessing. My first year racing I have been consistently in the top 3 for Temple Off Road enduro racing series, and see the podium every race. Devoting daily training time has pushed me to power through the struggles and achieve faster lap times putting me higher place overall. Also, in the East Coast Enduro Association Fast Kidz series I have made it to every race even if that’s traveling hours away to stay in the top 4 every race. When not following the Enduro hare scramble series I am beginning to do more Supercross. I love the diversity between motos and the trees trail riding. On my first Supercross race I got second place at Evansville Supercross.
