Personal History

I started competing in motocross races back in 2018 when I was 11 years old, this was my first season ever and I was riding a 2017 husqvarna TC85, that season I learned a lot of new things about racing and how things work in the world of motocross. That year i got 2 overalls, 2nd place in LAMA Latvian amateur series in the 85cc youth class and 3rd in Marupe regional championship. In the year 2019 my dad bought me my first new bike, a 2019 husqvarna TC85. That year in the winter I worked very hard in physical trainings and also moto trainings so I could compete in the NE zone European championship. That year I rode 3/5 races and places 23rd overall in the NE zone European championship, unfortunately my season ended faster due to a arm injury in late july of 2019. The year 2020 came with a bang, got two new 85s for Christmas and was pumped for the season, that season I had a plan to win latvian nationals and get top 10 in the Latvian championship. The 2020 season ended great with me winning the Latvian nationals in the 85cc class and finishing 13th in the Latvian championship. The years 2021 and 2022 were tuff, my family had financial problems due to covid-19 and I had to leave the sport. In late 2022 a local Latvian team called me and said they have a spot open for me, of course I took the opportunity. They bought me a Honda CRF250R 2023, this was my first time on a big bike and also a big leap for me from 85 straight to 250cc. So far the 2023 season has been great, getting better every training, every race, and learning a lot of new things on the big bike.

Riding Goals

My goals are to finish this 2023 season healthy and in the winter start working hard for 2024, where I have planned to ride some EMX250 races and also ride the ADAC championship in the 250 youngsters cup. In the year 2024 I want to find a new more professional team so I can pursue my first steps in professional motocross. After that my goals are to get at least one European title and start to ride in the mx2 class in the mxgp world championship.

Competitive Highlights

My highlights on a 250cc so far are looking like this: two top 5 finishes, five 3rd place finishes, one 2nd place finish and 3 1st place finishes
