Personal History
My name is Alissa Duncan, I am 9 years old and a 3rd grader at Berne-Knox-Westerlo School in Berne NY. I love to ride 4 wheelers, cheerleading and softball. I have an older brother Dylan, an older sister Kaylee and a baby brother Gunner. When I was younger I used to watch my brother race snowcross and dreamed that one day, I too would be on a race track! I don't like the cold so snowmobiling was out, not a fan of dirtbikes so I choose 4 wheels. my dad got me my first 4 wheeler when I was 3 years old. my sister and I ride all the time and my dad always told me that I belong on a motocross track.
mom and dad have decided that it is time for me to chase my dream! I have a brand new DRR DRX 90 stock quad that I use for practice and real muddy races. I also have a 2017 DRR 90 race modified quad, this thing is awesome! I call my stock quad "pinky" and my race quad is named "Big Buster"
2017 was my first season racing and I think I did pretty good, I finished second overall in AMA, CNYMRA district 3. I also competed for the first time in a supercross series and finishe 3rd overall in that.
Riding Goals
My 2018 goal is to win the New York State Championship, compete and finish well at the famous Loretta Lynn race in Tennessee. and if I can, I plan on winning the Royal Mountain Supercross Series 2018.
Competitive Highlights
in one short season I was able to finish second overall in CNYMRA. I missed the first 5 races because I wasn't racing yet. I also did well at the supercros series, again finishing well even with missing the first few races. I also finished 3rd in the New York State Championship race Unadilla. at that time I didn't even have a race quad, I place 3rd on my stock quad! I was the only stock quad in that event. my dad built a nasty race quad after that race and said "we got out powered at the championship race, NOT out ridden" so now I have a quad that can compete at the national level!
