Personal History
I love to ride, although i haven't been riding for as long as most of my friends. My dad was the overall A state champ in '85, so i am working toward that goal myself. other than riding, i love to play pool, swim, and golf as well. i am a pretty outgoing person, i love to meet new people. i have a great family that supports me and my racing to the fullest. i go to school at Brainerd High School in brainerd, MN. i am currently a junior. i am hoping to go to college either to be a mechanic or a computer software engineer. i haven't decided yet. if there is anything else you would like to know about me, feel free to email or message me!
Riding Goals
If i do not get advanced to A class this offseason, then my goal will be to move up to A by the end of next year. I want to stay healthy, and ride my hardest and hopefully will be advanced. i also would like to get a job this school year and save up enough money to buy a new KTM 200XCW for next season. a non-racing related goal i would like to accomplish this year is to make the B- honor roll in school, good grades are crucial to me getting accepted to college.
Competitive Highlights
Well, the first highlight has to be winning my first race, last year at the hill city harescramble. i got my first holeshot and my first win there, and was close to winning overall C. another highlight was last year at the akeley east enduro, my friend todd, who raced 200B class at the time (i raced 200C), crashed and was taken by helicopter to the nearest hospital, and i wound up winning that race, and my score actually won 200B also, so i kind of felt like i won my class for me and 200B for todd. the biggest highlight in my career was winning the 200C harescramble championship last year in the final race. it was a battle between me and two other riders for the championship and whoever finished better at that race would win. the race was a mudfest, as it rained the entire night and that morning before the race. i got second in my class, but the two riders i was battling with DNF'd, so i won the championship.
