Personal History

I got my first dirt bike when I was 3 years old for Christmas it was a PW-50 at the Same time I was playing hockey and was advancing quickly already playing on travel teams when I was 4 years old until I retired at 19. While growing up though I always had friends that road so whenever I had the chance I would take a bike around the block or through the woods it was always so much fun but I was committed to hockey at the time. After I retired I started working in construction which was always a plan for me all the men on both sides of my family work in the construction field after working a year I got into a car accident and was out for work for about a year as I was coming to the end my recovery my younger brother decided he wanted to get a yz125 for his birthday when we went to the dealership their happened to be another one right next to it I couldn’t pass up the opportunity so I got one for myself also.
I’ll never forget the first time we went to our local track (which is now shutting down unfortunately it was the only real track on Long Island which means I’ll be having to drive to englishtown New Jersey every weekend to ride) throwing my leg over the bike and hopping on the track was the most fun I had in my life the feeling I get while riding is unlike anything in the world I don’t have to worry about bills, work or relationships it’s just me and my bike completely free not a worry in the world living In the moment it’s nothing you can get anywhere else’s the adrenaline everything it’s addictive. I progressed pretty quick considering my life is moto now I’m always watching YouTube videos trying to work on my technique watching old races taking in as much information as I can.
Working 40+ hours a week I try and get to the track 2 times a week when the weather allows it I enjoy practicing different techniques and working on my endurance I never wanna pull off the track I keep going till I can’t hold on anymore trying to stay in that moment and zone. Nothing makes me happier then loading up the bikes with my brother and dad and putting in some motos.
As for racing I support myself with gas, fees, parts, bikes, equipment unless it’s a birthday or holiday I’m on my own when it comes to moto. I started racing after a year of riding joining my local racing district (D2)
And riding the unadilla armature races on the pro track which was an experience of a life time. Ended up with some not so great results after getting cleaned out in the first corner in a few races which was even more disappointing considering I was getting top 5 on the holeshot and being sidelined a majority of the season due to bike malfunctions and the not so great supply chain at the time made it hard to get some necessary parts. But after this first year I got an idea of the race scene and I’m planning on getting in a lot more races this year and hopefully competing at the Kawasaki race of champions this year.

Riding Goals

Race all my district races
Get some top 10 overalls
Put in more off the bike training
Get on a diet program
Possibly get some training if I can afford it
Practice more
Have fun

Competitive Highlights

I’d say my competitive highlight for the year was battling back to a 21st after getting my front wheel sawed off flying across the track getting my leg ran over and taking a front wheel to the ribs.
