Personal History
My name is Alex Rabalais. I am an Assistant Project Manager for Cajun Industries in Baton Rouge, LA. Grew up playing basketball, baseball, and football competitively until I was 18. I always rode 4-wheelers and dirt bikes as a hobby when sports were on breaks. Never raced when I was younger, but i had a KX65 then a KX100 that I used to ride with my family and friends while they mostly mud rode three and four wheelers. When high school started, I got out of riding dirtbikes. After about 13 years of not riding, one of my best friends got me back into the sport.in 2017. Competed in my first race about 2 months after I bought my bike. It's safe to say it has sucked me back in as I try to attend every race I can that is within a reasonable range from my house. We are soon going to begin to start traveling for race weekends across the southeast.
Riding Goals
Looking to continue getting better as rapidly as possible. With my first kid on the way, I am hoping to get him/her into riding and continue riding for as long as I can. Living out in a rural area, I try to ride as much as possible and progressively get better every ride. Hoping to eventually work my way in to consistent top 10 overall finishes.
Competitive Highlights
As far as racing, I just began a little over a year ago. After starting slow in 2017 finishing around 5th in beginner class, I started winning the beginner class in 2018. After winning the championship in the beginner class in the LACC series, I will be moving up to the Novice class in 2019 (B class in SERA).
Moved up to Novice class in LACC in 2019. I am currently in the hunt for the Novice championship, but will fall short due to a vacation that has caused me to miss a race late in the season. Have been finishing in the top 20 out of approx 130 riders at the main events for LACC. Will continue to push and move my way up the leaderboard in the future.
