Personal History

I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia and my family moved to the Houston/Galveston area after my father graduated from Georgia Tech and hired by NASA. I am a 4 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served in Afghanistan in 2002.  As a kid I rode and raced BMX in Friendswood, TX. I've ridden and raced motocross as a teenager with my first bike being a 1986 RM80. In addition, I've raced mountain bikes for a local bicycle shop at the intermediate level from 2000-2002 and competed all over the State of Texas. I still use cycling as a vital part of my training regime. In addition, I work out with weights and incorporate various other cardiovascular exercises.

Riding Goals

My goals for 2015 is to try and race more often in the 40 C class and perhaps the two-stroke class. I'd like to continue to learn more about the sport and always ride safe and have fun.

Competitive Highlights

I started racing motocross in 2013, but an injury kept me from fully riding and racing at my optimal level. I used 2013 the heal and regain strength and confidence. I raced one Main Event race at Cowboy Badlands and several local EVO races. In 2014, I began racing the South Texas Night Series and I was able to regain some riding confidence in my skills. I raced the 250/450 Open Beginner Class. I finished an overall 3rd at Ultimate MX, and overall 2nd at Rio Bravo MX, and an overall 5th at the Texas Night Series Shootout at Freestone MX. Overall I finished the series 5th place.
