Personal History

Alex Baxley here......... born in Augusta, GA in 1999. Lived in Aiken, SC until I was 6 and moved to Omaha, NE until 2009 when we moved to Jefferson, GA. At 9 years old, I gained the passion to ride, and got my first dirt bike for my 10th birthday. I started out riding for fun because I was a student athlete in soccer, baseball and football and playing violin (yes mom made me!). I excel at school and have a dream to be in sports medicine as a career; along with gaining more and more experience and skills in motocross.

At the age of 13, I started to realize that my true gift was riding (in addition to being able to beat box and hum at the same time ;)). A year later, I stopped school sports and started racing locally. A few months after I turned 15, I decided I wanted to step it up a notch and race more and more at a higher level.

I love racing and competing. The rush of getting a hole shot and beating great competition is the best in the world!

Riding Goals

IN November of 2015, at an arena cross race, I broke both of my legs at the same time. I have just returned to racing after 8 months with an even more fierce desire to succeed. I trained with Matt Walker at MotoX Compound this summer when I was released to ride. With his help and that of Timmy Badour I was able to get it all back and then some.

My goals for 2016/2017 are to race as many big races as possible, continue to train at MotoX and make it to Loretta Lynns in 2017. A big goal with a BIGGER desire to imrpovr to get better and better!

Competitive Highlights

I am just back to racing. I just finished a Suzuki GA Big Series Race on 8/22/16 at Synergy in Wadley, AL where I placed 6th in Schoolboy II. Tough first 2 motos due to weather.

i am scheduled to race all the rest of the Suzuki GA Big Series and the Vurb Classic coming in September.
