Personal History
I am 13 years old and the only girl in my family. I have 3 brothers; my older brother doesn’t race but one of my younger brothers does, and my baby brother already loves dirtbikes. I race a KTM 85 at the moment and my little brother is on a Yamaha 65. This past racing season was a recovery season from breaking my arm at Dutch Sport Mx. This was a major set back in my racing career because I ended up with a sleepy nerve and couldn’t race or ride much for about 10 months. I am fully recovered and got my confidence back now and am ready to become a better rider through training and racing with more competition.
I work hard off the track as well. I am in 8th grade and have a 4.0 gpa. I enjoy playing basketball and running track during the moto off season.
Riding Goals
My next riding goal I want to complete is making it to Lorretta’s Ranch. I just recently got first overall in the state championship and am ready for a harder challenge. This next season I plan to train a bunch with many different people and attend a few district races at tracks I really enjoy racing at such as Battle Creek, Valley, Twisted Mx, etc. Next year, after training, I will try to make it to Lorretta’s. If I don’t make it I can continue to train and then try again the following year until I make it. I want to grow as a rider and race a national race!
Competitive Highlights
Throughout my racing years I’ve made friends with a ton of amazing people and have found my own moto family who are there for me as I am there for them. I look forward to seeing these people every weekend to hangout with and race with. I’ve learned a lot of things from these people and have a lot of fun making memories with them. I almost got the championship last year (2019) but since I broke my arm I lost that opportunity; ultimately placing 5th for the season. I am glad to say that I just secured the number one spot for the D14 Michigan State Championship Series! In 2018 I received a district 14 seasonal 5th place on my Ktm 65 against the boys, and a 4th place in girls. I am excited to continue my racing path and can’t wait to see what the future holds for me.
