Rider Updates

This weekend we made the long 6 hour journey all the way to akron indiana to race at a track called hangtime mx. It was a Loretta Lynn Qualifier. Iama racing the 250C class this year so thats what I signed up for. There were 25 hopefulls in the class. This was my first time racing in the 250C class and on my first moto, I crashed off the start and ended up on some other guy's bike making it hard to catch up, I ended up 17th that moto. My second moto went much better, I placed 11th place. So I overalled 15th for the day out of 25. Alittle behind what I was hoping for, but a good way to start off the 2010 season.

About 16 weeks ago, I was at my 6th race of the year at polka dots. The season was just starting and going in my second race suffering a severe crash after swapping a high speed double resulting in a severe concushion, bruised lungs and ribs. My season didn't start off like planned. But I pushed harder, and swapped in a whoop section at polka dots and broke my right clavicle(which the bone broke right above my leatt neck brace so, better that than my neck). I was origanally out for 6 weeks with a sling. Well, because the collerbone was separated soooooo far, it took alot longer than it should have. So, 14 weeks later, training and riding vigoursly, I went to my first race back at caddilac mx. I did pretty well considering it was my first race back off injury. I got a 3rd in the 125b/c and a 4 in the schoolboy class. There are only about 5 races left in the season. I hope to be making all of them. Thanks for reading, and a big thanks the companies that matter most; my sponsors!

Another great practice at Baja MX. It was great because the track got rough and it was good training.

This last weekend was the first race for the 2009 AMA season and it started at Bulldogs M/C. It looked to be a good day for racing. I had ran very well all day, in my first motos I placed 4 in the 125 B/C and 5 in the Schoolboy. In the second moto I was running 3 in my 125 B/C and wasn't going to get passed. I came up to a 40 foot double and got cross-rutted and crashed hard. I didn't get hurt but, got a bad concusion and bruised my ribs. My bike should be ready to make the next AMA race in two weeks which is Bulldogs again. I can't wait. That day I ended up with DNF, but it was the best I have raced and its a long season so there should be time to make up the points.

Last weekends March 28 practice at Baja MX went great. This season looks promising! It was my first ride with my new suspension and top end. Everything worked great on my bike and it ran smooth. I hope that this season continues off to a good start!
