Personal History
Hello, my name is Alec Shuff. I'm 14 and I race motocross in Michigan througth the AMA District-14 and GLMX series. Its all I race, I race at tracks such as Baja MX, Polka Dots M/C, Bulldogs M/C, Freelin MX, Little Valley MX Park, and Redbud. They are all very competitive tracks and are a blast to race on. I race through the AMA District-14 and GLMX because its more competitive and I race for points. I got my first bike when I was 6 and loved it ever since. I started racing when I was 7 and really fell in love with the sport and I haven't stopped. Today, I ride a YZ250F in the 250C class and school boy lites classes. My grades in school are also very important to me. I am in the 8th grade and work hard to maintain straight A's. Motocross is my life. Having a dad who raced in the 250 A and B class through the AMA District-17 and 15 in Illinios in the 70's, gives me a lot of help. He takes me to all of my races and is a huge support to me. I normally race about every weekend (20-30 races a year) and practice 3-5 days a week. I also train everyday, running lifting weights, etc. In the winter, I go down state to Fenton MX and practice indoor. This year I'm really going to need some sponsors. I really want to get in the top 10 in both of my classes (that is my main goal for this year)! In order to do that, I'm going to need some help. So, please sponsor me! I'm looking for any kind of sponsor that will help me in any way. I will promote your business on and off the track. I am very serous about my racing and plan to make it to the A class. Competitive Highlights
Last year, I was racing the Schoolboy class at Polka Dots M/C and I was battling for the lead with another great rider. The first two laps we were going head to head back and forth. On the third lap I passed him and took off but, he wasn't far behind and we battled till the end when I won. That day I came out with the over all win.
Another great win, was when I was at Little Valley MX Park. I was battling the same rider and I got a bad start and he got an early lead. I kept him in my sight and was trying my hardest to catch him. Little by little I was catching up to him each lap. I finally caught him and he fell in a corner. From then on, in that race I led and won the over all.
