Personal History
Hello my name is AJ Henderson and I am a senior at Monrovia High school. I started riding at my house just about 8 years ago. Then one day me and my brother desided to go and race at podium one down south in indiana ( three years ago). Ever sience then we have dedicated the mojority of our lives to motocross. We ended up building a practice track at the house with a complete watering system. We also have a tracker to disk the track and a bobcat to build everything with, it takes time but its worth it!
Riding Goals
In this year I have a lot of goals for myself, one is to do the northern devison toyota arenacross and make it to las Vegas, which im on a good track because two of the three classes i race i am in the top 5 which transfers to las vegas and im 8 points from being top 5 in the other class. Another goal is to race a lot out of state outside of indiana, also go to Loretta Lynn's and ponca city. And mabey do some amateur nationals like, Lake Whitney, and Branson USA. Then finaly go to A class next year and get my pro licence.
Competitive Highlights
I started out racing in 125C and 125 youth, that year i placed 2nd in the state in 125C and 6th in the state in 125 youth so not to bad for my first year racing.
The following year i moved to 125B and raced lot of races in that class along with 14-24. Twords the end of that year we bought a 450 so i could run 450B. I ended up with a 1st in both of my classes 125 B and 14-24 in the AMA District 15 Points series (in Indiana). In this year i went down to ponca city and raced there for the first time in my life and also made it to the Loretta Lynn regional in Michigan which was a difficult class, 4 stroke open was a hard class.
Then last year was my best year yet, I started out the seson by racing all three of my classes, 125 B 14-24 and 250B. In this year we raced a lot, we raced over 50 races in almost all of the classes. We qualified for ponca city and went to the Loretta Lynn reginal in mid ohio. We also took a trip out to missouri for the Branson national, which i raced 5 classes down there and did decent for the first time being there. Then in the AMA District 15 points series i placed 1st in 125B ,1st in 250 B and 2nd in 14-24 which was a huge dissapointment, because that year i was going to sweep all three classes. But i still did good for it only being my third year racing.
