Personal History

Hi I'm Aj Ciriello I am 17 years old. I originally got into motocross because when I was 7 years old my stepDad bought me my first dirtbike a Honda 50. It wasn't much longer before I moved up to a Suzuki 65 because the 50 was getting much too small. I never did any racing on the 50 or 65 but I spent 4 or 5 years just learning how to ride it. Now my whole family races, my stepdad, my mom and my little brothers. I Personally started racing on a Suzuki rm 85 when I was 12 and raced 3 seasons on it before I switched to the Yamaha yz125 for the 2014 season. I am highly skilled in harescramble and any kind of trail event. I love to ride in the sand and excell in the mud. On the off season I enjoy snowmobiling and any other winter activity to keep me in shape while the snow flys and we can no longer get our bikes out. I am NOT a smoker. I also Made honours roll the first two years of high school. I'm very mechanically inclined and have a major in automotive service tech. When I started racing I had no clue what I was doing but I've been quickly learning and quickly getting better going from back of the pack in the 85 beginner class 4 years ago to placing 4th in intermediate my first year on the 125. I'm always happy with how I place even if I place poorly or get hurt in the process. I'm very competitive but Im also out there to have a good time doing what I love.  I always give it my hundred and ten percent no matter the conditions and I'm always committed. I've always tried to be a positive influence to others in my life and set the best example I can by simply having a good time.

Riding Goals

My riding goals are to be sponsored and race the expert pro classes in cmrc. I want to prove that I may have started late but I still have what it takes to be a top contender. Next year I will be racing intermediate again but if I do well enough in the first race I will be bumped to expert and be able to race expert and the pro class in steel city riders.  In the future id like to qualify for GNCC enduros and the national 6 day enduro, which I believe last year was located in Europe?

In the next year or so my goal is to move up to a bigger bike and enter in more competitve clubs and ride at an expert level.

Competitive Highlights

By my 3rd year ever racing I had finished third place in the 85 advanced class and my first year on the 125 I finished 4th overall in the junior and intermediate classes consistantly finishing top 8 all season.my biggest achievements have to be getting first place in the memorial 1 hour race, the memorial 6hour track and trail race, and the harescramble in the intermediate class even passing some of the expert level riders.

Durring the 2013 race season in the 6 hour track and trail race I rode the intermediate class on my stock Suzuki rm 85 and finished 3 minuts infront of everyone in the junior and intermediate level.
