Personal History
I am 10 years old and have been riding since the age of 3. My Dad told me that if I learned how to ride a bike without training wheels I would get a dirtbike - so I never had training wheels and went straight to 2 wheels and then 2 wheels with a motor.
My home track is Durhamtown Plantation and I practice at a few smaller spots around the Atlanta area.
Riding Goals
#1 - My main goal is to win the championship series at Durhamtown. This is a 15 race series that wil run until next May. So far I am in the hunt with only 3 races under my belt.
#2 - I want to clear the triple on our MX 1 Finish Line
#3 - I want to learn how to do a better scrub whip
Competitive Highlights
The very first race that I entered was a GP race at Durhamtown. The field was spread across 65cc and 85cc bikes and I ghost flipped my bike on the start. My Dad did not help me with the bike because he wants me to learn exactly how to handle situations like that on my own. I was able to get back up and started, but the rest of the folks were almost a 1/2 lap ahead. In my head I was really upset but I just went for it and kept picking of kids one at a time. There was one 85cc that was way ahead but I didnt get discouraged because my Dad has always told me to race all the way to the end. Well, the 85 made a mistake and went down and I was able to pass him and take a first in my very first race. That was all I needed - hooked!
