2021 Riverdale winter series finished this weekend. I was battling for 2nd in points. I had a crash in my first moto but was able to finish. I went 17-4 for 10th overall. I ended up 3rd in points overall for 85 beginner. Looking forward to moving up to a 125 for the start of Thursday night motocross 2021.

Riverdale Winter Series finally started. Still waiting for the final results to get posted.
I got my high points plaque from last season. I got 7th for the season in the 65 beginner class.

Winter outdoor series finally started this weekend. First official race on my 85. Still adjusting to the start on my 85. First moto start was pretty late but I had a much better start the second moto. Went 10-11 for 11th overall.

COVID has really jammed up the racing in the Pacific NW. Most winter series were cut short.
Many tracks remain closed. PIR Thursday night MX recently started open practice for a limited number of riders. 110
Getting in practice on my new 2018 YZ85 at friends tracks and when local practice tracks are open.
Looking forward to getting back to racing.

Last race of the winter series thanks to Corona. Triple crown race at Woodland MX. Three Moto format. Made a mistake in moto one but had my best individual moto finish in the third. 12-4-2 for fifth overall. This will be my last race on a 65. Moving up to 85 once Thursday Night Motocross starts at Portland International Raceway.

Riverdale MX Winter Series 1-19-2020
Managed a 6th place finish at Riverdale this weekend.
I got a great start in the second moto crossing the line in third place. I made a mistake in the first turn though and fell back to 10th. I was able to make it up to sixth. I went 6-6 for sixth overall.
This race taught me that I need to stay focused and not get over excited if I get a good start.

January 12, 2020 Woodland Winter Cup #7
The alternator in our truck went out today and we missed this race. We were able to get to a friends house to fix the problem but not in time to make it to the track before moto 2.
