Personal History
My Dad has always loved Motocross and taught me to ride a Yamaha PW80 when I was 4. Now, my Dad has built me a practice track and he chases me around on his Kawasaki KX 250, I LOVE IT!
I am AMA 6 and just completed my first competitive racing season with District 22. I started the 2014 season in the 50 Jr. class and did very well, finishing 1st or 2nd with one 3rd place finish in the 6 races I competed in. We decided it would be best to move up mid-season to the 50 Sr. class to gain more experience in a faster paced setting. I finished 7th overall racing the last 10 out of the 18 scheduled races. I have attended training sessions at Manga Academy and Club 57 MX with plans to continue training in 2015. I earned 1st place in the Cedar Lake Arena Winter Series Championship and look forward to getting the 2015 season started in the 50 Sr and 65 Jr classes!!
Riding Goals
My motocross goals are to continue to progress while competing in the 2015 District 22 championship and I will give it all I got to try to make it to Loretta Lynn's. I plan to race my 2013 Cobra 50 Sr. while continuing to gain experience on my 2013 Cobra 65 to compete in the 65 Jr. class. I will also continue to attend riding academies to further my riding skills. It has been a great year and I have learned so much in the sport so far!
Competitive Highlights
Starting out in the 50 Jr. class and moving up to the Sr. class mid-season while in 1st place in the points to gain more experience in a faster paced setting is a competitive highlight. I feel I gained quite a bit of experience in the 50 Sr. class and finished 7th place overall in the 50 Sr. class while only competing in the last 10 of the 18 scheduled races.
