Personal History
I was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa and from an very early age was bitten by the offroad bug as his father raced rally cars and competed in a wide range of events, I however was more interested in 2 wheels rather than 4 and that has been his passion since.
In 2005 I moved to Scotland and visited the Bulmullo motocross track and was instantly bitten by the bug to ride again and so after many hours of hard work in 2012 I bought a Honda CRF 250R and raced in a few of the Scottish National Rounds but due to alot of mechanical breakdowns was unable to finish the season.
2013 started off great with and I ready to race but then I was struck with another blow and during training at Bulmullo I caught my foot in a rut and caused enough damage to my right knee to put an end to my hopes of racing in the Scottish Nationals and instead focused my time on recovering and competed in some club championship races to keep as bike fit as possible.
Coming into 2014 I was again race ready and will be moving into the Veterans class for the Scottish Nationals and Rhynie and Cardenden Club Championships. I was feeling the best I have i a long time but yet again I was dealt the biggest blow of my riding career with a very big crash which resulted in a broken Tibia, Fibula and Femur in the right leg and Pulmonary Embolisms in the lungs which almost ended my life. But I am a fighter and I have signed to race for the REVO MXS Racing Team in 2016 and I have employed one of Scotlands top female body builders who has developed a strict training and eating plan for me.
Riding Goals
My Goal is to win the Vets Class of the Scott Nationals and Scottish Nationals Championships in 2016.
