Personal History
Hello, my name is Addison Marra. I am 13 years old and live in Sandyston New Jersey. I am the middle child with an older sister (17) and younger brother (9). The first time my dad put my on a dirt bike I was 4 years old and can remember him running behind me holding the back of my shirt. My dad had ridden his whole like and stopped to start a family. I knew once one of us kids showed interest he would get right back into it. I enjoy racing and camping with my family. In school I play soccer for the middle school team to stay in shape.
Riding Goals
Every weekend we pack up our camper and the go to the track for my dad, brother and I to race. Knowing that we are spending the weekend together as a family and making new friends makes we want to race forever. This year I am working harder, training with professionals, and pushing myself to get better and better race. I have been placing between 5-7 in each class I ride. This year I have decided to push myself to place in the top 4.
Competitive Highlights
In 2024 I started racing not knowing where I would place getting on the starting gate. I ended up placing and qualifying for the LL area qualifiers. When I got to the Regional race it was a great experience riding with other people. This season I have been pushing myself, training with professionals, and working harder. I enjoy the time we spend together as a family and all the friends I have made along the way. Each starting gate the girls encourage each other and the positivity makes me enjoy the sport even more. This year I have again qualified for LL Regionals and I am excited to ride a different track and learn from a different group of girls.
