Personal History

I have been racing and riding dirt bikes since the early 90's. I grew up racing nesc motocross and netra hare scrambles. I raced most weekends but never really did the entire season. After graduating hihg school I went to motorcycle mechanics institute out in phx, A.Z. While out there I started doing freestyle motocross because I could not afford to race.I had a couple of pretty bad injuries and ended up taking four years off. I moved back to connecticut, and having a strong desire to be back on a bike I purchased a 2005 yz 250 and did the entire 2006 netra hare scrambles series. I ended up second overall in the B 250 class due to mechanical failure in the last round. For 2007 I baught a ktm 250 sx-f and came out of the gate with wins right away. They bumped me up to the A class about five races into the season. I picked up a 2008 ktm 300 xc we about 3/4 through the season and switched from the A 250 class to the A-open class. I had to wins in the A open class and ended up 4 th overall for the year. For 2009 I picked up a 09 300 xc, and will be competing in both hare scramble and enduro series this year.

Riding Goals

2008 was a my best year of racing yet. I ended up 4 th overall in the A-open class in the NETRA hare scramble series. In the NETRA enduro series I ended up 3rd overall. I missed the first two enduros, and missed the championship by 16 points. This was my first year of enduros, which is why I missed the first two.(didnt know I would like them) Had I done one of the first two the A heavy title would have been mine. I missed making the pro class bt thirteen points. My goal for 09 is to win both hare scramble and enduro titles and turn pro for 2010 season. I have a brand new 2009 ktm 300xc, and have over 40 events on the schedule for 09. This is the year.

Competitive Highlights

Four A-heavy wins this year, and numerous second place finishes. At the Rocky Mountain I finished 6th overall. At newark I finished ninth overall. My goal is consistency for 09 on the road to pro for 2010.
