Personal History
I have loved dirt bikes ever since I saw one when I was young. Growing up, my family didn't have the funds to buy me a bike, let alone fund a racing bike. I ended up doing the typical thing of mowing lawns in the summer, saving up for whatever I could get to ride. I ended up with a 1989 Kawasaki Mojave 250 4-wheeler. I rode that for awhile, then sold it when I went to college for forest management at the University of New Hampshire. After graduating from UNH with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry in 2013, I bought my first dirt bike, a 2002 Kawasaki KDX 200, and I rode that up until I bought a used 2021 Husqvarna Te300i in the winter of 2023. I work in the field of forestry in the private sector, managing over 15,000 acres in the northeast. I love my job, and being in the woods is my favorite place to be. Last year was also a milestone for my wife, and I bought a working 65-acre horse farm. We are continuing the farm's legacy from the previous owners and making my wife's dreams a reality.
Riding Goals
I ride my bike because I love it! I love the NETRA racing community; it is such a cool family to be part of. My imeditae goals for this racing season are to work to get on the podium and go for the B vet championship. My overall goal is to progress every year and work my way from B, and hopefully eventually to A.
Competitive Highlights
I had more progression for my second season racing NETRA. I raced in both the Enduro and Harescramble competition series. I got on the podium twice and highpointed my class on an enduro on a 22-year-old Kawaskai KDX 200 while my TE was down for repairs. I ended up 4th in Enduros and 6th in Harescrambles batting bike problems all season. I also promoted to the B class and raced my first afternoon race with the pros and finished the 2-hour-long race, finishing 11th in my class. Ecited for next season racing in the B Vet class.
