Personal History
My name is adam cooper and i'm 22 years old from Sioux Falls, SD. I used to race as a kid on a 65cc and 85 cc in local series around my city. Due to injuries, when i was 13, my parents made me hang up the helmet. Now, six years later, I've gotten a new bike and started to ride a lot and ease back into racing. Unfortunately, My 4th race back into racing, I crashed and ruptured my Acillis Tendon. This injury was a very lengthy one and unfortunately happened at the end of the summer which took the surgery and rehab well into the beginning of summer 2010. I started riding a lot again but didnt race. I got most my speed back and have been cross training to prepare for the 2011 season in which I expect to have a career best season.
Riding Goals
For 2011 I will be racing my first actual competitive season in many years. I will be racing three local series that include sioux valley cycle club, yankton scrammblers mx, and fiddler creek mx park. I will be racing in the Lites b and the 450 b classes in which i anticipate to be a top five rider.
Competitive Highlights
Consistent top 4 rider in my mini 65cc and 85cc career. My 3 out of 4 races back after my long break from riding i placed in the top 5. I'm very driven to prove to myself and my potential sponsors that I have what it takes to put it on the podium.
