Personal History

Born into a family that champions athletic pursuits, I received a PW50 on my fifth birthday, sparking an enduring passion for dirt bikes. Despite gravitating towards team sports in my youth, the call of off-road riding remained constant – every available moment spent riding with cousins and uncles.

During college I earned bachelor's and master's degrees in exercise physiology while playing lacrosse at the DII level and meeting my now wife. A decade in the ski industry followed, fueled by a newfound love for skiing and mountain biking.

At 30, a compelling urge drew me back to dirt biking. Armed with a bike, I immersed myself in trail riding amidst the mountains of Colorado where I lived. The thrill of competition lured me to my first race a year later, a decision that set the stage for a fervent commitment to off-road racing.

In the pits, my steadfast support crew comprises of my wife Morgan and our two-year-old daughter, Cora, a pint-sized fan already showing a knack for revving throttles.

Outside of riding, my adventures continue. I find solace in backcountry skiing, mountain biking, and whitewater rafting. These activities complement my riding pursuits and give me an opportunity to spend time enjoying the outdoors with my family.

Riding Goals

My Riding Passion:

Every time I hop on a bike, my primary goal is simple: to thoroughly enjoy the experience. Since childhood, I've held the belief that dirt bikes are the coolest thing on earth, and that sentiment hasn't changed as an adult. Riding, for me, is not just a hobby; it's a genuine love affair with the sport. My aim is to relish every moment and ensure that the joy of riding stays alive.

This love translates into a commitment to progress, continual learning, and competitiveness. Whether I'm trail riding or training on the track, my goal is to evolve as a rider and maintain a deep connection with the sport.

Upcoming Challenges:

This year marks a significant milestone for me as I make my B Class debut, following an overall win in the CORCS Open C Class in 2023. My aspiration for the year is clear — to secure a prominent position in the top tier of the B Class.

Future Aspirations:

Looking ahead over the next few years, my riding ambition is to establish myself as a top competitor in the A Class enduro and offroad races in Colorado. This goal reflects my dedication to the sport and the desire to excel in the most challenging competitions.

Exciting challenges await, including my inaugural hard enduro race at the Silver Kings Hard Enduro at Silver Mountain Resort in Idaho. Additionally, I am set to solo the CORCS "Longest Day" 12-hour race in the ironman category.

Each ride is not just a journey; it's a step forward in my personal and competitive growth. I look forward to the challenges, the victories, and the continuous love affair with dirt biking.
