Personal History
When I was about 5 years old my cousin brought over his dirtbike to our farm to ride, I had a little power wheels Barbie jeep, he jumped in that and I jumped on the Honda 50 with training wheels, it all started from there! Growing up and getting older, my bike became my therapy, my escape from reality. I grew up with only my dad in the picture for a parent, I wouldn't trade it for anything because he's the only person that supports me with everything he's got, I'm now a junior in highschool, I play softball and basketball but racing is the only thing sport wise that i absolutely love and put the most effort into. I'm from a small town in Illinois, the fairground races are such a joy to be at, everyone's family and genuine people who come together and support one another. Every Friday night in the summer that's where I spend my time, with the guys building the track, helping with setting up, it's where I feel most myself. Most of the guys I race with say that motocross isn't a sport for girls, and I'll prove it to them that I deserve to be on the gate by leaving them in the dust! It's my motivation actually, I love proving people wrong about me and my friends that are also girls who race. I started racing in May of 2016 and I love the adrenaline rush I have, I've been trail riding and just going around my local track since I had my Honda 50, I'm so proud that I had the courage to start racing, I will never look back!
Riding Goals
I ride for the achievement of getting faster and quicker every time I'm out on that track. I absolutely love setting goals and reaching them and seeing myself improve over the years. Every single time I get on my bike I set two goals and by the end of the day they are achieved, I love the feeling of getting higher and hitting that jump a little faster, and getting my stability better in the whoops. I want to make myself the best girl out on the track and I will be one day!
Competitive Highlights
The biggest highlight I've had is passing in my races. I'm more comfortable and smart about how I pass. My second race ever I passed about 5 guys and won 3rd place. That was the biggest highlight of my life, even if that sounds cheesy. The last race of the season I got a late start, I was quick in my turns and was barley breaking but I managed to pass and work my way up to 2nd
