Personal History

My name is Abbi James I’ve been riding since I was a little girl, my dad had me on a TTR50 when I was 4. I’ve been around bikes my whole life, my Dad Jamie James was a pro super bike champion in AMA racing for several teams. Now I race vintage outdoor motocross for the AHRMA association and am currently sponsored by Nor-Cal racing. It is very fun traveling and doing that. When I am not racing vintage bikes I am riding a 2023 yz250F. On my off weekends me and some friends go to tracks around Louisiana and on Thursday nights we like to go night ride at a local track I love the sport and I am really trying to get my name out there, and my goal is to start racing my 250f in the AMA association races

Riding Goals

I guess the simple answer is I ride because I love it. But there’s so many things to love about it, the feeling of the bike when I first sit on it the sound of all the bikes pulling up to the track. The feeling I get when being on the track with the fast bikes and hearing the men have trouble passing me each and everytime I go fewer and fewer pass and I know it getting faster and faster. It separates me in a way from a lot of other females, there’s not many in this sport but I do enjoy seeing another lady ride and just out there at the track, knowing we’re doing one of the most complex, bad ass sports in the world.
