Personal History
I began riding dirtbikes in 1980 on a Yamaha MX 80 in Mike Gibson's yard. Have been riding and racing on and off ever since. By the 2000's I was helping promote local MX races and a local Arenacross that raised $7000 for local scholarship fund. Now my son is riding and we have decided to start racing some cross country, hare scramble and desert racing. We established 580 Motorsports and will be raising money for local people in need.
Riding Goals
Our goal is to promote the sports of offroad racing and raise money for people in our community while having fun. We will be shooting for a top 5 in every race we do in 2010. But more importantly we want to raise $5000 to help local cancer patients.
Competitive Highlights
Since starting racing again in 1996, I have consistantly been a top 3 rider in 125 Novice and then the Over 30 B MX class. Racing in Oklahoma City, Lubbock, TX. Amarillo,TX. Dodge City, KS. and Guymon, OK. I have been promoting the sport of motocross racing with a passion.
