Personal History

After initialing riding motocross to cross-train for downhill MTB racing where I raced at the national level in the Semi-Pro (3 years) and Pro (2 years) level, I raced in some local motocross races in Southern California and some AMA National Hare & Hounds.  After moving to Phoenix, AZ and taking a few years off from all forms of racing, I decided to pursue the WORCS series starting in 2013.  Since then, I have been competing in the 125 B and 40+ B classes in the WORCS series. I also compete in other local/regional off-road and motocross races: AMRA off-road series, ACP SMX Series, Searchlight Grand Prix, and A Day In The Dirt.

Riding Goals

2016 Goals:
1) My focus will continue to be competing in the WORCS series.
2) My primary goal is to podium at all events in the 40+B class and win the 40+B championship. I recently purchased a 2016 KTM 350 XC-F which will allow me to be more competitive in this class.
3) My secondary goal is to defend my 125 B championship. I cannot stop racing my 2-stroke.....it's just not possible.
4) When not competing in the WORCS series, my goal will be to finish in the top-3 of any class I compete in.
5) Aside from the racing aspect, I strive to promote a healthy lifestyle and constantly improve my riding skills. I plan to continue to build relationships in the off-road racing community, support my friends and fellow racers to meet their personal goals, and support my sponsors in any way necessary.

Competitive Highlights

While racing as an amateur and semi-pro in downhill MTB, I won several state and regional championships.  I also placed consistently on the podium at the national level.  Once I turned pro, the podiums disappeared, but held my own considering my age and support.  While racing pro, I became a team manager, I found success by helping my teammates succeed.  I coached/managed the 2006 Junior National Champion who went on to qualify to race in the UCI World Championships in New Zealand that year.  Now that I am racing motocross, I plan to apply the same effort and mindset that helped me enjoy my time downhill MTB racing.  I won the 125B class of the WORCS series in 2013, and helped my girlfriend by placing 3rd in the same series in the Women B class.

Off-Road Racing Highlights:
1) Winning the WORCS 125 B Championship in 2015 and 2013.
2) Being competitive in the 40+B class while racing a '05 Yamaha 144 vs. most competitors thar are on big bore 4-strokes.
3) Besides my on-track competition, the reason I go to race events and compete is because I thrive off of the adventure that surrounds racing; from meeting new friends who enjoy the competition & camaraderie, to sharing bike set-up tips & supporting my closest friends in order to achieve their personal goals.
