Rider Updates
Dec 21 2020
Village Creek MX was finally able to host their 21st Annual Turkey Bowl after being postponed twice. This was my first time entering a full motocross race and I raced the 122+ Beginners class. I not only pulled the holeshot in both motos, but I also went 1-1 to take the win for the weekend. My son also participated in his first big event motocross race in the 50cc Beginner class. In his first moto he pulled the holeshot and was already ahead 18 seconds but locked up his rear brake and went down in the back section of the track. His handlebars got stuck in a deep rut and by time somebody was able to help he had dropped to 7th. He battled back to finish 4th in that moto. In the 2nd moto he rode hard and kept it on 2 wheels and finished 2nd place just three seconds behind 1st place. He ended up taking 3rd overall for the weekend. Thank you to the Lord above for giving us this opportunity and keeping us safe, thank you to my biggest fans (wife, daughter, son, mom, mother-in-law, father-in-law, and friends) for coming out and supporting me, and a huge thank you to my new sponsor Flowvision for the most comfortable goggles with the perfect lenses to see the lines. I didn't even have to wear my prescription glasses to see the track.
