Personal History
Hi, my name is Aaron Mahlmann.
I got my first dirt bike, a Yamaha TTR125, in June of 2007. After begging my Dad for one from an early age. While I first started riding and racing less than a year ago at the age of 12, I have consistenly increased my riding skills rapidly improved through dedicated practice and hard work.
I started racing shortly after that. My first race was in four-stroke mini class placing in the top five. After that I raced the rest of the local series and placed 2nd overall.
In February of 2008 I stepped up to a new YZ85 for the racing season. Since then I have raced eight or more times on my 85 getting top five finishes in most of the races and pulling continous holeshots. My Dad, little brother, and I go to the track nearly every weekend to race or practice.
I am in 8th grade and, I get A's and B's. I will go out of my way to make sure that my sponsers are satisfied in what I am doing so that they will consider sponsering in the future.
Riding Goals
My goals for 08-09 is to be a top 12-15 85cc rider and go to Ponca City and the Loretta Lynn Amateur Nationals. I will also participate in some amateur nationals at Freestone County Raceway.
Competitive Highlights
I don't have many competitive highlights, but I started out getting 4th in four-stroke mini class.
Now a year later I am getting top finishes in the 85cc beginner class.
