Personal History
I live in Beaverlodge, Alberta. I work as a journeyman Instrument Technician for EnCana. I have been racing my whole life, primarily following the Peace Motocross Association series. We have 7 local tracks and run a 10 race series. For 2010 I have been elected president of the PMA, and I am also the vice president of the Beaverlodge Motocross Club. Honda has been my brand of choice since I started, and have had great support from our local Honda dealer Gaudin's Honda.
I have had great years and also struggled with injury as a racer. A broken collarbone in 2000 almost cost me a championship. I tore my left ACL in 2001 and was forced to sit the remainder of the season out. In 2006 I tore my ACL in my right knee and broke my Tibia as well. Last summer I broke my left Tibia and Fibula which required surgery and I sat most of the summer out.
I ride in the pro class for the PMA series, but have never been able to get a CMRC national pro license. I am racing the Nex Trax Arenacross series this winter in the Intermediate class with hopes to be granted a pro license, as this is affiliated with the CMRC.
I have high hopes for 2010 and I am determined to meet my goals.
