Personal History

"It may start in your blood but without hard work and support, it will end there."

As a young motocross racer, Braeden aka "B"  learns many things without it feeling like a lesson; exercise comes in the form of frisbee, yoga or playing with the pets. He gets a kick out of loading up, entertained by simple pleasures like strapping things down, and power washing the bike on a hot summer day. When conditions make the lessons more apparent, he learns about commitment, patience, and composure. The mental challenges are equally as demanding as the physical. His coaches, (Dad and Née) instill mindfulness for the task at hand, reinforcing his understanding of track safety and empowering personal beliefs to enable him to persevere.

Winning 2 Hole Shots and moving up a position on his 2nd race, he applies his teachings quickly and turns on the competitive drive. Now competing in multiple classes he has the opportunity to adapt effectively.

Racing and practicing on the east coast of North Carolina, Braeden has family across the nation he hopes to be able to race near.

Motocross has fostered a large sense of confidence and excitement within "B". As a charismatic and sweet-natured boy, he enjoys sharing toys to make new friends, riding bicycles and is rarely short of a compliment. He'll search the field for flowers in the spring to give to Née and expresses thanks and a lending hand to his Dad for fixing his bike.

Riding Goals

2018: Improving techniques while racing the AMA District 29 series, along with maintaining good health, being a stronger competitor for the championship. He really wants to compete in Loretta Lynns for the 2018 season. During the year he practices routinely, learning new skills on the bike and for various track conditions. Currently, he is working on standing up more often and gaining confidence riding ruts.

2017: The opportunity to compete and finish his first race series, the CCMX Fall Series, healthy and with a favorable placement overall in the championship to build on for 2018. Joining T-Ball for a Rec. League and aiding the team to do well during the games.

Competitive Highlights

Braeden loves anything competitive whether it is Motocross, T-Ball or racing to the mailbox. Braeden's Dad and Grandfather were racers. His Dad as a kid started with BMX then Motocross and into his mid-20s racing Motocross, Superbikes and Supermoto, so they compete at almost everything they do together. We have instilled a strong competitive mindset along with a strong sportsmanship within our Lil Ripper!

At his second race ever, Rd 2 of the Fall CCMX Series, he pulled the Hole-shot in Moto 1, for the 4-6 50cc Class and in Moto 2 of the 50cc Open Class, being the youngest rider on the gate with 6 other riders.

Braeden did phenomenal, placing 2nd overall in 51cc Open 4-8 and taking home the Championship in 51cc 4-6 Open. He has made huge strides in his riding and his competitive mindset when it comes to racing. We can't express how proud of our Lil Ripper we are in words. We look forward to the 2018 season and what it will hold for Braeden.
