Personal History
I am 15 years old, and I am one of three children born to my mom and dad, who work tirelessly to allow the children of our family to follow their dreams. I have two older, adult age sisters, one 24 and the other 20. My oldest sister played softball from age 4 through college, and the younger one was a college bowler now in nursing school. We live on 63 acres of what was once only a part of a working farm in middle Tennessee, but as times changed, the farm did too. We have three dogs and chickens. As a family, we love to travel, whether in our RV or to a destination by air or sea. By sea would be cruising, and that is, by far, my favorite.
I am in the 9th grade. My favorite subject is math. To be honest, I fret over my grades often, because I set a high standard for myself. Success starts in the classroom, so grades are very important.
I have a good, small circle of friends. I go to a private school, still in my county. My friend group is made up of all the people I met in public school. My two best friends goes to the schools nearest our town. We see each other as much as we can.
I have not found a sport that I love more than riding my motorcycle, although I’ve had different bikes since I was 5. I have tried many things from soccer to karate up until 2021, and because of that, I have only been riding competitively a few years. When my parents asked me to try it this time, I gave it a whirl. I’ve been on a bike ever since. I wish that I would have started earlier. I think kids who start early have a major advantage, but I do my best every time. We have a small track at home, so I practice as the weather permits.
We have a family saying, "you get what you get, and you don't throw a fit." It helps you stay humbled when you win or lose. Sore losers are as bad as cocky winners. There will always be someone faster and better than you. Practice doesn't make perfect, but it makes you better than yesterday.
Riding Goals
My ultimate goal is to keep my head up and continue to practice, and one day, I’d like to ride in the Nitro Circus. It seems like a crazy fantasy, but when you want something like this, you push yourself until you get it. I also would like to qualify for Loretta Lynn’s at Hurricane Mills with the AMA. The experience itself will be amazing. Will I be upset that I didn't make it if I don't? Sure, but at least I'm getting to ride and make friends along the way.
Competitive Highlights
I’ve only been competing for a few years, so we’ve done several local races and some hours away to see what each series is like. I have trophied in a few locals. I got 2nd overall in Supermini and my age group in a small, local thing in Central City, Kentucky, when I first started. As of now, I am riding a Honda CRF250r in 250 and 450 classes. I rode my first summer on my 250 at TriStar MX in 2023, and I actually got 3rd OA in 250C. It was hard, but I did it. I also got 5th OA in Supermini 1, and I got 3rd OA in my age group on my 150. This past summer overall I got 1st in 250C, 1st 450C, and 2nd in school boy. I am still learning each season.
