Rider Updates
Dec 30 2020
Racing 2020 has been quite Covid... disaster. However, myself and my boys did find a lot more time on bikes and we are ready for a good 2021 season. We have our sights on getting some winter track time in as well

After having 2 young boys, I am moving back into the racing scene. I will be riding a 2016 YZ250 2 storke, I have the bike tuned in. I was able to move to a location where I was able t build a track in my yard and I am have been training and getting ready to race the 2018 season. I wasn't ready for the loretta lynns qualifiers, but I will be ready by next near and the family will be old enough to join.
Looking forward to a good season

Sunday I finished my 3rd race of the season, my finish place was not where I wanted it to be, but after being off the bike so long I feel pretty good about where I am going. my cross training through the winter has paid off on my endurance and once my upper body strength catches up I should be able to lay down some nice lap times... So far form and consistency is really good this year.

After a 3rd degree AC separation last year before Loretta Lynn's and career change my racing season ended with only practice sessions. I completed a lot of cross training this winter and have began building my riding back up. I am ready for a nice long season of riding.

I finished out this year 5th overall and 26th overall in my AMA district 14. I spent most of my races in the 30+ so I would have next year to develop in the Open B class, I will be training all winter and trying to make some Ice race events in preperation for next MX season.I am also getting my rig together for next year and will post some pictures soon of I am am representing your companies.

The past few weeks I have been attending every district 14 race event that was held. My progress has been steady, my cornering is less then desired, however I have been working on correct corning strategy and getting my suspension dialed in. I have had moments of greatness and a mouth full of dirt. I have been placing mid pack in both the open B and 30+ class’s, the difference in speed between myself and the leaders is 80% cornering speed. I am still building my muscle back from being off the bike for 14 years, but every race I improve. I hope to bring better results soon. Most of the events I have attended also held Pro-Am races (money Moto’s) so competition is stiff, offering some great racing.

The past weekend I attended the Baja Brawl near Burch Run Michigan; this is a pretty large event with crowd of over 900 hundred riders and over 7000 guest. I placed 6th in the 30+ class and 8th in the Open B class. With this being my 10th race since my 15 yr. break I was still struggling with endurance and learning how to get the most out of a 4 stroke bike. My best race was a 6th place finish in the Open B class. I had good energy this Moto, combined with a good start. I held my own running within 8-10 seconds of the leader at the end of the Moto. This coming weekend I plan to stop at a local circuit where I have been finishing in the top two. I want to see if the 4day racing event I just attended added to my endurance and try to go 1-1 in both class’s at this local event.
