Personal History
I started riding dirt bikes in California when I was 15 years old. I did well in the Desert Series D37 Hare and Hound on mini’s and 125 Classes. I quit riding dirt bikes when I joined the US Navy at 18 years old. 22 years later, I have found my self in Virginia Beach, VA and have enough free time to enjoy life again by getting back on a dirt bike. I recently purchased a brand new KTM 2 stroke and am actively competing in the Virginia Championship Hare Scramble Series.
Riding Goals
I ride dirt bikes because it makes me feel like a superhero. Controlling a dirt bike in difficult and challenging terrain releases an addictive adrenaline rush that I have been craving since I was a young man. It keeps me in good physical shape and provides a meaningful purpose to life. My goal for this year is gain back some the riding skills that I lost since I was 18 years old. I hope to finish my first racing season ahead of at least half of my class 40+C. As of right now I only have 45 hours on a dirt bike in 22 years and I am loving it.
Competitive Highlights
I have only competed in the first three races of the Virgina Championship Hare Scramble Series. I finished all three races and didn’t get last place. My lap times are improving, and I am starting to catch the pack in my class.
