2 weeks ago I was racing in Taylorville but it was only practice since we get 2 practices I only do one lap in the 1st practice because its so soft and slick I went out for second practice and I didnt even comeplete half a lap........some guys were riding like idiots behind me and one guy went down taking out all 5 of us entering the corner I was completley blind sided I wasnt even aware they were taht close to me.I went down flipped over the handle bars and the bike hit me in the back.My dad works as the EMT up there and So he had to drive me out by ambulance to St. Johns hospital I spent the day in the hospital they wanted to keep me over night in ICU because of my lung but since he knew my dad was an EMT and my mom is a nurse he let us go home aka to the camper at the track so I could watch Sunday.I was sent home with a 3.7cm hole in my lung which had collapsed and a chipped collar bone and3 breaks in my middle finger of my right hand and 2 fractures with a bend on my right ring fingerWe have been driving back and fourth for x rays 4 times in two weeks. Im not realeased to actually ride for a nother 3 weeks but Im probably going to race this weekend!my bike only had minor scratches and the big gun exhaust pipe has an extra gole in it! The motormount was pushed up into the actual pipe which put the hole in itJust thought Id update you guys on the hole racing season thanks to all of my sponsors out there!
