Rider Updates

After some VERY competive AMA and Bookoo indoor AX this winter, we can't wait to get back outdoors and do some springtime outdoor MX racing.I really enjoyed the indoor series and except for a few bad races, getting caught up in crashes, blown motors, clutches etc. It was a successful season. Unfortunately, being in the wrong place on the track at the wrong time costs me a class championship. But, that's racing! I have learned to take the bad with the good, learn from it, remain focused and look forward. For all my MX friends out there, remember, you are going to have those days when it seems that nothing goes right. You will win and you will lose. I lost a championship in my 1st year with a broken leg in practice. It was not fun to go to the last race of the season, in a cast, where if I were not injured, I would have wrapped up the championship, and watch it slip away lap after lap. However, it was not a total waste. My little brother won the Peewee championship that day. I was really proud of him. The most important thing is keep you head up and keep smiling. Don't get down on youself or those around you. Most of all have fun and be safe! As my dad tells me before evry race, "Race hard, race smart and be patient". Good luck to all in the 2006 season.
