Big 6 GP Round 3 Glen Helen My first race the "Unclassified" race I felt really strong. I have never started at a motocross gate and I knew that was going to be my weakness. I got a pretty bad start but was able to catch up to the pack and make some passes. The rest of the race was just about learning the course for the race at the end of the day. My second race I wanted to get a better start and knew I needed to get more traction in the muddy conditions off the gate. I got a lot of wheel spin and got a mediocre start. Unfortunately there was a lot of sandbaggers that signed up as beginners and novices in this race. But I was able to keep up with them until a guy clipped me in the technical rocky section we were going down. I got back up and pushed pretty hard the first two laps. After that I was pretty beat but still going at a constant pace. I ended up making a last corner pass that was pretty awesome and ended up 15th. My Dunlop tires hooked up great in the choppy muddy corners! And my Spy Goggles kept my eyes relaxed and my vision clear all day! The course was pretty brutal but I had a ton of fun. This was my first GP so I knew it would be a learning experience. I'm glad to be healthy and looking forward to doing some more GPs! I also have a bunch of graphics and plastics on the way to clean up my bike and as well to represent my sponsors on my graphics! Pictures to come in the next couple weeks!
