August 20-21BARS Racing headed north to Delta Raceway to compete in this weekends 2005 Scott USA Motocross Championship Series. On the beginner track were BARS riders #024 O'Brien and #735 Blevins. Blevins finished 1st in the PW80 class and #024 O'Brien brought home a 4th place finish in the 65cc class.4 of the BARS racers entered Sunday's 2005 Scott USA Ironman MotoGP Series. The Ironman MotoGP is an one hour event on an incredibly varied terrain course. #248 Blevins, #300 Robertson, #735 Blevins all finished in the top position. Finishing 3rd in the 65cc class was #024 O'Brien. 85cc Intermediate class Moto 1 started off great for the BARS teammates #248 Blevins and #13 Stiltner. #248 Blevins lead from start to finish and repeated this in Moto 2 to take the overall victory. #13 Stiltner's brakes failed in Moto 1 but held on to take 3rd place. Moto 2 #13 Stiltner finished in second place just ahead of Toledo's Austin Crider. #13 Stiltner took home the second place overall for the weekend.85-125 Junior class entry #300 Robertson finished 1st on his 85cc Kawasaki. #231 Anthony Sansotta a first time visitor to Delta raceway rode his Grips Cycle Shop sponsored Suzuki in two classes this weekend. Taking home 1st place trophies in both the 125cc and 250 4 stroke classes.
